Remote Access for Institutional Users

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) offers a remote-access option to provide institution–based access that is easier and more flexible—anytime, anywhere, and from any device.

Seamless and Simple

NEJM.org remote access automatically and seamlessly pairs your free NEJM.org account with your institutions site license subscription. Any device—phone, tablet, laptop, desktopcan be used to pair accounts. Once access is paired, you may use any device to access NEJM.org—as long as you are signed in to your NEJM.org account.

Pairing your free NEJM.org account with an institutions access rights is easy:

  • Sign in to—or be present within—your institutional network/IP range.
  • Simultaneously sign in to your NEJM.org account. If you do not have one, you can create one.

Your institutions access rights will be automatically applied to your NEJM.org account for a period of 180 days. Every time you sign in to your NEJM.org account while logged in to your institutions network, your remote access is automatically reauthenticated for another 180 days.
